Qualification : ISRO VSSC Kerala Recruitment 2026
1. Graduate Apprentice
- Engineering Disciplines: First Class Engineering Degree (Four-year or Three-year duration for lateral entry) from a recognized University in the respective field with not less than 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA.
- Eligible Engineering Streams: Aeronautical/Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, and Fire & Safety Engineering.
- Hotel Management / Catering Technology: First Class Degree in Hotel Management / Catering Technology from a recognized University with not less than 60% marks.
- General Stream (Non-Engineering) Graduates: Three-year duration Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with not less than 60% marks or 6.32 CGPA.
2. Technician Apprentice
- Engineering Diploma Disciplines: First Class Diploma in Engineering (Three years duration) from a State Board of Technical Education.
- Eligible Diploma Streams: Automobile, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Instrument Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.
- Diploma in Commercial Practice: Three years duration Diploma in Commercial Practice from a State Board of Technical Education with not less than 6.32 CGPA.

- There is no application fee required for ISRO VSSC Kerala Recruitment
- Selection is purely based on the highest marks scored by candidates in the relevant qualifying examination, keeping reservation rules in mind.
- Results will be displayed via the VSSC Website, Intranet Ashoka, and newspapers.
Eligible candidates may appear for interview along with a duly filled application form in the prescribed format and self-attested copies of relevant documents and original documents for verification.

- Find the Graduate Apprentices & Technician Apprentices Job Notification in the “Recruitment/ Career/ Advertisement menu” link and click on it.
- Download the official notification from the link provided at the end.
- Read the official notifications carefully and verify your eligibility criteria.
- Visit the Official Offline Application / Registration link below.
- Take a Printout of official application form and other necessary documents required.
- Fill the required details correctly.
- Enclose (Attach) all the necessary documents required and attest by self signature.
- Next, if Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) requires an application fee, make the payment as per the notification mode. Otherwise, go to the next step.
- Take photo copy of your application and cover it.
- Finally, Go for Walk-in dated on 25 July 2026.

Q1: When and where is the VSSC Apprentice Selection Drive taking place?
- Ans: The selection drive will take place on 25.07.2026 (Saturday) from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Karthika Thirunal Govt. V&GHSS for Girls, Manacaud, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
- Ans: No. Applications will only be received in person at the selection drive venue on 25.07.2026. No other mode of application is accepted.
- Ans: Graduate Apprentices will receive ₹12,300/- per month, and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices will receive ₹10,900/- per month.
- Ans: No. Candidates who completed their Degree/Diploma before April 2022 are explicitly NOT eligible.
- Ans: No. Result-awaiting candidates and those appearing for their final year exams are NOT eligible to apply.
- Ans: You must have a first-class Engineering Degree with at least 65% marks or a 6.84 CGPA. Note that converting CGPA to percentage to meet eligibility is strictly prohibited.
- Ans: First priority is given to candidates from the Southern Region of BOAT (Kerala, TN, Karnataka, AP, Telangana, and Puducherry). Candidates from other states will only be considered if vacancies remain unfilled.
- Ans: No. VSSC provides canteen and transport facilities, but candidates must arrange their own accommodation.
- Ans: No. Completion of the one-year training does not confer any right or claim for permanent employment in any ISRO or Department of Space unit.
- Ans: You must bring your Original Documents along with self-attested copies of your Degree/Diploma certificate, Consolidated Mark list, SSLC/SSC certificate (for DOB proof), a passport-size photo, and your caste/category certificate (OBC-NCL/EWS/SC/ST/PWBD) if applicable.
