Salary Details : Indian Navy Recruitment 2026
- Rank & Initial Salary: Inducted as Sub Lieutenant with a starting gross salary of approximately Rs.1,20,000/- per month plus applicable allowances.
- Allowances: Pilot, NAOO, and Submarine allowances of Rs.31,250/- per month are admissible post-successful completion of training.
- Training Condition: Only unmarried candidates can join training. Marrying during training results in discharge and refund of training costs, pay, and allowances.

5. Naval Constructor
- BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical, Mechanical with Automation, Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aero Space Engineering, Marine Engineering, Ship Technology, Naval Architecture, Metallurgy, Ship Building, Ship Design.
- Candidates choosing SSC (Pilot) entry are advised to check physical/medical standards (Height, leg length, etc.) prior to selecting this option.
- Candidates declared medically fit for CDSE Jul 27 course will be considered fit for all SSC branches of IN (except for Pilot/NAOO).
- Change of medical hospital centre is not permissible under any circumstances.
- There is no application fee required for Indian Navy Recruitment
- Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree. For BE/B.Tech, marks up to the 5th semester are considered for final-year students. For Post-Graduates, pre-final year performance is evaluated.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email/SMS. No change of SSB center is allowed. AC 3-tier rail fare is reimbursable for first-timers.
- Medical & Merit List: Merit list will be prepared based purely on SSB marks, subject to medical clearance and vacancy availability.
